Generally, all fees charged by the Weight Loss Detective Program are non-refundable. If because of unforeseen problems you are unable to continue during the first month, we can refund you 50% of your membership fee. We cannot refund the full amount of the membership fee because it is expensive to run this service with top quality people, and we do want to be able to continue to support our excellent service. Unlike some other weight loss membership programs, we are not government funded.
If you get COVID or some other illness during your Weight Loss Detective membership, it is quite safe to continue the diet or meal plan prescribed by your Weight Loss Detective, but please discuss this with your detective. However, if you feel that you cannot continue the diet because of illness, we can suspend your membership until you are recovered and ready to start the program again. You will then get the full period of membership that you have subscribed to.
Please note that the fees for your blood tests are independent of our organization, and if you decide to have any blood tests suggested by our Weight Loss Detectives, that you are responsible for paying the pathology laboratory. We are unable to get a refund for you for these blood test costs.
If you do decide to finish the program before your membership expires, you will still have access to our articles, webinars, podcasts and quizzes over the long term. You are welcome to rejoin at any time after your membership is finalised. We cannot guarantee that you will continue to lose the excess weight that you desire to lose, but we do offer you an excellent opportunity to achieve this goal.
