Orgasmic Fudge
This is so good – you will understand why we call it orgasmic fudge if you listen to the responses when your friends taste it!
Remember, moderation is the key to good health . . .good luck stopping at one piece!
3 cups dark fruit cake crumbs
1 cup almond meal
2 cups whole fruits and nuts, roughly chopped (e.g. dried apricots, peaches, pears, raisins, prunes, brazil nuts, cashews)
½ cup Grand Marnier Liqueur
½ cup fresh orange juice
¾ cup cocoa powder
½ cup dark chocolate, grated
melted dark chocolate, extra (optional)
toasted coconut (optional)
Mix all ingredients (except optional) together until well combined. Cover and let stand for several hours for flavours to blend. Take a portion and place on a board, press into a shape about 2cm thick, and cut into bit sized squares. Dip each piece into melted chocolate (extra) and place on baking paper to set. Alternatively, roll mixture into small balls, then roll in toasted coconut.
Repeat until all mixture is used. Store in an airtight container in a cool place. Will keep for several weeks.
